With this wide range of clothing and accessories, Ford Warriors in Pink really does offer something for everyone!

For Breast Cancer Awareness in 2011, the Warriors in Pink collection brings new tees, a bright pink zip hoodie, pajama pants, an adorable tote bag, and so much more. I received a package containing a number of items to thoroughly review and share with you – so I’m excited to give you the scoop!

First, we’ll start with my favorite – the zippered Warrior Getaway Tote Bag. I’m not surprised to see it is currently out of stock, but don’t worry; the tote starts shipping again in mid-January and is still available for preordering. 100% of the net proceeds from sales of this item ($10 each) goes to Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.
Ford Warriors in Pink 2011
This tote is honestly big enough to be an overnight bag when you go to a friend’s house for the evening, but it is still conveniently sized and shaped for everyday use. I truly love the versatility of it and really like the burgundy coloring with the pink, orange, and green symbol of the warrior accents printed on the outside of the bag. The tote has a zippered interior pocket that would be great for your small valuables or any documentation – especially a boarding pass or flight information if you tend to travel a lot.

The inside liner of the tote also features a fun pattern and a soft vinyl type, 100% water resistant fabric that seems as if it would be easy to clean. I absolutely love that I could fit just about anything in this bag – from a laptop computer to a day or two worth of clothing and toiletries. For only $20, this tote is a steal! The bag measures 17”x 15” x 6” with 16” straps. The rest of my items to review were cleverly zippered up inside the duffle – what nice presentation!

WIP Victory Tee 2011The Warriors in Pink Victory Tee is another favorite of mine – this cool scoop-neck t-shirt comes in a pretty shade of gray with hand-drawn pink and green vines, leaves, and warrior designs. The fabric is SO soft – I really love it! Also, the shirt is tag-less – another plus. The t-shirt is very comfortable and it looks adorable with jeans or sweats. I would even wear it with a casual cotton skirt.

The Victory Tee has slightly cuffed sleeves for a cute and classy look while the scoop neck is especially comfortable to wear. (There’s nothing worse than a shirt whose neckline is cut too close to your throat!) I would say I am usually between a size small and medium in most tops, depending on how they run. For perspective, I think the size small I received is perfect for me – a little roomy even, so keep this in mind when picking out your own size! 100% of the net proceeds ($11.80 each) goes to Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. The shirts cost $20 each.

WIP PJ Pants 2011A nice surprise for me – the Sweet Dreams PJ Pants – look adorable in pink with a collage of warrior designs in pink and orange. What I especially love about these pajama pants is that they offer the best of both worlds – a partially elastic waistband with a partial drawstring – perfect for comfort as well as function! The pants are made of soft, 100% cotton jersey – so comfortable you might want to wear them all day!

I received a size medium in the pj pants for the purpose of this review. I think they are a little big on me, but definitely long, so keep this in mind if you are short like me (I am about 5’1”). You can always hem them or wear them only inside if you don’t mind them dragging a bit. Honestly, these pants are really cute and comfortable, so you will probably enjoy them either way.  100% of the net proceeds ($11.50 each) goes to Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. These pants sell for $24.

WIP Pink Hoodie 2011Another sweet surprise, the Power of Pink Hoodie features a soft and cuddly waffle weave in 100% cotton that I can’t get enough of. This fabric is so soft and comfortable – making it a great choice for casual outerwear and layering with your favorite tanks. I’ve even worn this with my sweats on days when I don’t need to leave the house. It’s really a cozy hoodie that looks and feels great.

The hood is nice and roomy with lots of space no matter what your hairstyle, and the long woven cords ensure you never miss a chance to tighten and scrunch the hood if needed. The side pockets are sized nicely to fit more than just your ChapStick. The front of the hoodie has a WARRIOR logo and design that goes horizontally across while the back has a diagonal design that is fairly similar. In terms of how I like to wear my hoodies, this size small seems to be true-to-size and perfect for me, unless you wanted it a little roomier. At $45, this hoodie is a great deal for the many uses you’ll find for it. 100% of the net proceeds ($24.10 each) goes to Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.

WIP Scarf 2011Finally, the 2011 Scarf offers a soft and cuddly way to accessorize your outfits throughout the year. This scarf it beautifully patterned with the warriors logo and designs on 100% rayon viscose. The scarf is an annual tradition for Warriors in Pink, with a new design coming out each year. It’s an easy way to dress up your outfit for a good cause. Like a wearable work of art, the scarf comes alive based on what you wear with it. Match it with a casual top for a dressy look or wear it with your pea coat for a pop of color.

I love how soft it is and I think it’s really fun to accessorize with a scarf like this. The main colors center on pink and burgundy with some accents of white and gray. 100% of the net proceeds from each scarf ($24.05) goes to Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. The scarf sells for $34. Right now it is sold out, but it is still available for order and will ship in mid-January.

This is just a small sampling of the many lovely and comfortable items offered by Ford Warriors in Pink. You can find great gift ideas or a special treat for yourself or someone in your family in this collection.
