  1. Actually I hate weddings. My favorite cousin committed suicide just months after his marriage, 2 of my best friends died in a car accident on their honeymoon, and well I have been married 4 times and regret each marriage

  2. I really do love going to weddings!! I have been to about 30 by now…family, friends, friends of family, you name it! I love getting all dolled up to share in someone’s special day. And I admit, i mostly look forward to the food, drinks, and that special time when I get to ROCK OUT on the dance floor:-) it’s a time when I just let loose and let the good times roll!!! It’s a time when all my “moves” get to make an appearance;-) I can’t wait for my wedding day, when I can strut my stuff…I’ve had lots of practice since I’m one of the last of my friends to get married; lol!

  3. My favorite part of a wedding is when the couple dances together for the first time–they almost always look happy and a bit relieved to have gotten through the ceremony, etc. (I know I was–I had no idea how stressful and exhausting planning a wedding could be).

  4. For the wedding itself, I love when the bride and groom write their own vows and recite them; I always manage to tear up when they speak to each other.

    I’m already an email subscriber.

  5. My favorite part of weddings is the fancy food. It’s like going to a fancy restaurant, except you don’t have to pay an arm and a leg. Well if you don’t count the wedding gift you have to buy…
