Product Review: Skinsational California Citrus Shower Gel and Lotion

California Citrus Shower Gel and California Citrus Lotion by Skinsational both offer a truly invigorating experience for your senses. The fresh and juicy citrus fragrance makes both of these potions for your body refreshing and revitalizing. The lingering fragrance of these beauty products is enough of a reason to give them a shot.
The fragrance of the Skinsational California Citrus Shower Gel is as potent as you’d hope, and it lingers nicely in your bathroom after your shower. This beauty product is worth the higher price tag for the scent alone, as my husband instantly noticed it after getting home from work. He liked the orangey fragrance a lot and thought I had been burning a candle or recently used a fragrant bath bomb like those offered by LUSH. To his surprise, it was very simply the lingering effects of my shower gel!
It did not take me long to use up an entire 8 oz bottle of the Skinsational California Citrus Shower Gel. I tried to savor it and stretch out its use, but it was just too nice a scent for the spring, summer, and fall. The truth is you will also enjoy this refreshing citrus scent in the winter as a way to bring you back to warmer days. It’s just lovely. The shower gel produces a great lather that does not disappoint.
As for the 8 oz bottle of Skinsational California Citrus Lotion I received, I am still enjoying the effects day by day. The rich lotion is pure white with a slightly thick and emollient texture. The lotion rubs into your skin easily and delivers a beautiful lingering citrusy fragrance. After using the California Citrus Lotion twice within just a few minutes, my hands did feel somewhat greasy, but that goes away in time. I do feel the need to reapply here and there, but part of that could be due to my overly dry winter skin.
Both products feature a pump style dispenser and enough shower gel or lotion to last you a few months, in most cases. The fragrance is highly desirable and both these beauty products include botanical extracts and vitamins. All in all, I am very happy with both Skinsational California Citrus products and I would recommend them.
