Apple Ginger Brew
Mixologist: Tony Abou-Ganim
1 1/2 ounces Shellback Spiced Rum
1 ounce Cinnamon Simple Syrup
2 ounce Unfiltered Apple Juice
1 ounce Fresh Lemon Juice
Chilled Ginger Beer
Lemon Spirals and Apple Slices for Garnish
In a mixing glass add Shellback Spiced Rum, cinnamon syrup cloudy apple juice and fresh lemon juice; shake with ice until well blended. Strain into an ice filled Collins glass. Top with chilled ginger beer, stir to mix and garnish with lemon spirals and apple slices.
Ghoulish Guava Punch
Mixologist: Natalie Bovis
2 cups Shellback Silver Rum
2 cups Green Tea
1 1/2 cups Guava Juice
1/2 cup Ginger Honey Syrup (See Below)
1/2 cup Fresh Lime Juice
Grated Nutmeg for Garnish
Pour all ingredients into a large pitcher or punch bowl and chill in the refrigerator. Grate fresh nutmeg over the surface of the punch when ready to serve. Serve to order over ice-filled punch glasses. Or chill punch itself with a large block of ice in the bowl or pitcher.
Ginger Honey Syrup
Place a 1” long, peeled piece of fresh ginger into a saucepan, along with ½ cup of honey and ½ cup of water. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Let cool and sit for a few hours. Remove ginger and bottle syrup.
