I am blessed with two wonderful parents who have been married 39 years, are adventurous, thoughtful, successful and happily retired. Sounds like they've got it all but one thing was missing for them and that was being grandparents! Turns out that myself and my one and only sibling fell into the DINK category (double income household). I am a mother of three wonderful human beings and am very proud of them. I am a spoiler when it comes to giving them all the love and attention they need. I am not, however, a spoiler in nonessential items. My husband and I are always tight for money and can never buy our kids what they want (especially during the holidays), but we try and let them know through love and communication that there is much more than inanimate objects to keep you happy in life.
