Summer’s winding down, but that doesn’t mean you still can’t have a summer-y drink or three. Smirnoff features three fresh flavors in their Sorbet Light Line – Lemon, Mango Passion Fruit and Raspberry Pomegranate. I received all three to try and review. My verdict is that they are all fantastic!
Here are three unique recipes for all the Smirnoff Sorbet Light flavors. I played around with the cocktail ingredients myself to create even more variety of drinks. If you are a fan of Italian Ices and other frozen fruit treats, these are sure to be your new favorite infusions of flavors.
My favorite of the three was the Mojito As a lifelong fan of lemon flavored things, I may have a slight bias, but it really is a divine drink. I substituted simple syrup with the agave nectar I had on hand.
Agave is low-cal so it was a perfect solution to my problem. The recipe is great without agave even, but if you aren’t a fan of tartness, agave sweetened up the drink while keeping a balance of the flavors and still tasting like a cocktail and not like overly sweet lemonade.
SMIRNOFF Sorbet Light Lemon Mojito
· 1.5 oz. SMIRNOFF Sorbet Light Lemon
· 0.75 oz. Lemon juice
· 0.75 oz. Simple syrup
· 2 oz. Club Soda
· Cucumber slice
· 7 Mint leaves
· Mint sprig and lemon wheel
Preparation: Combine all ingredients except the soda in a rocks glass, add ice, shake, strain over fresh ice into a highball glass, top with soda and garnish with mint sprig and lemon wheel.

The Coco Crush is a refreshing fruity drink. The flavors match each other to create a delicious balance of fruit juices, coconut water, and Mango Passionfruit Vodka. If you’re looking for a sweeter drink and relish in the idea of having extra pineapple juice on hand, consider getting the pineapple juice separate, but keep in mind of those potential extra calories if you’re counting.
I saved a step in the process when I found Vita Coco’s coconut water with pineapple. I wanted to avoid leftovers of pineapple juice that will only be left in the fridge until their expiration date and this was a fabulous solution. Although it is great on its own, it is also the perfect size to try cocktails out and only 60 calories per 8 fl oz.
SMIRNOFF Sorbet Light Coco Crush
· 1.5 oz. SMIRNOFF Sorbet Light Mango Passion Fruit
· 1.5 oz. Coconut Water
· 1 oz. Pineapple Juice
· Pineapple wedge
Preparation: Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass, add ice, shake, strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with pineapple wedge.

The Raspberry Pomegranate was exceptional as it is – perfect for a sweet shot or served on the rocks. I didn’t have these cocktail ingredients on hand and it was finished before I had time to go out to the store. It mixed well with anything I had on hand and is totally friend approved!
SMIRNOFF Sorbet Light Berry Teeny Bikini
· 1.5 oz. SMIRNOFF Sorbet Light Raspberry Pomegranate
· 0.5 oz. Lemon juice
· 0.5 oz. Simple syrup
Preparation: Combine all ingredients except the Prosecco in a mixing glass, add ice, shake, strain into a champagne flute, fill to top with Prosecco and garnish with raspberry.
